The teachers in Institut Ausiàs March, encouraged by previous successful projects carried out by our students, decided once more, to accept the challenge of engaging a group in a new project. 

After discussing different topics, the  proposal of "Genetic Engineering" was finally chosen. 

Our students are going to investigate through films, Internet, debates, round tables, an outside contact with Ms Francesca Bray (professor of Social Anthropology in the University of Edinburgh) and different workshops about the topic "Genetic Engineering".

Genetic engineering has been one of the major achievements in the field of biology, and the use of same for production of food is no doubt tempting.
